Testimony
Both of my parents are Christians so I grew up in a Christian home and became a Christian in my childhood.
What has God done in your life?
I was born in the hospital at Nyankunde in 2000 but my family fled, due to tribal warfare, in 2002, then returned in 2008. Both parents graduated from the Bible School in Nyankunde. I became a Christian during my childhood and now serve the Lord in the choir at my church. My Dad is a Pastor but has had to move several times due to insecurity in N.E. Congo. I am learning to trust the Lord even in the middle of these challenges. Please pray for us for safety and for boldness.
What are you doing now?
I am a student at the Anglican University in Bunia in Psychotherapy. I am learning so much in my studies, especially the importance of engaging students by asking questions while teaching and encouraging them to participate in discussion to understand how well they are learning.
What do you want to do after graduating?
I would like to teach elementary teachers in Nyankunde when my program is complete. Congo Impact has given me everything I need to succeed in my studies including the tools to research outside of the classroom. I appreciate the spiritual and intellectual guidance we receive through Congo Impact to become people that walk with God whom our community can rely on. They have equipped me to address many of the issues that challenge our community and I desire to be used by God to address the needs in my community.
