Testimony
I was born in a Christian family who attends the Church CE 39 in Nyankunde. Because Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior and loves me, I have made the decision to serve him all my life. Recently I learned from studying 1 Samuel 1: 9-23 that God's timing is different from ours.
What has God done in your life?
I have found that God does not forget anyone, He acts according to his time and his will. After completion of high school, I was given the opportunity to teach high school students in building construction and masonry even though I had not gone to University. Only after I had taught a few years did God provide for me to go to University through Congo Impact.
What are you doing now?
I am graduating from the Anglican University of Congo while living at home. It has been a 20-minute motorbike ride each way six days a week. Also, I have learned to play the guitar so I play and sing in one of the church choirs. Attending the monthly Congo Impact discipleship meetings where we shared with others has helped me grow in the Lord. I have grown much as I have seen the faith of other scholarship recipients.
What do you want to do after graduating?
I plan to return to Nyankunde soon and continue teaching at the secondary school as well as help with construction. Since I have completed my degree, I will be more equipped to teach and help others at a higher level. I want to work and serve according to the will of God.
