Family Background
I am the fourth child in my family and the first boy. My grandfather was a pastor and his children sang in the church and now we sing in the church too. I was born in Nyankunde but lived in Beni for a while after the war before returning to Nyankunde. It is my village and my favorite place.
How have you been serving during your time in school?
When I started with Congo Impact I was singing in the choir and now I direct that same choir. I am a youth leader of a church in Nyankunde. I teach and lead meetings. I go out and invite youth to join in our activities. I also try to follow up with those who do not attend.
What do you want to do after graduating?
Now that I have graduated, I am helping people in Bunia and Nyankunde and showing love to those who haven’t been able to go to university. I can teach them the theory and practice of what we have learned in school about IT. In the future, I want to start a computer center in Nyankunde.
How has Congo Impact helped you?
I am thankful to Congo Impact for making my studies possible. Congo Impact is so helpful for us and our future. I love Congo Impact and I hope that others will get a chance to be a part of Congo Impact too. I am also very thankful for my sponsor Lindsay and her family. They have helped me to accomplish all I have done so far.
