Meet Munguni Emmanuel Rodin
Emmanuel always wanted to follow in his father's footsteps and become a teacher. Through the generosity of his Congo Impact sponsor Emmanuel was able to complete his degree and achieve his dream. As a result, he not only impacts the students in his classroom through quality education but also uses part of his salary to pay the school fees for high school students in need.

How has Christ impacted your life?
I was born in a Christian family. I accepted Christ as a youth when a pastor preached on Revelation and the last day. I continue to serve Jesus until this day. I sing in the choir for the youth group and for church. I am also a secretary for the youth group. I also lead the youth group in going to nearby towns to preach the Good News of Christ.
What have you been doing since you graduated?
I am teaching Biology and Chemistry in the secondary school in Nyankunde. I love teaching!
What motivated you to become a teacher?
My father is a teacher. When I was growing up I saw my father teaching and it made me want to be a teacher too. Now that I am teaching I see that I really do enjoy it. It was a blessing to be trained for my position and to have increased my level of teaching.
What do you want to say to Congo Impact?
I want to say thank you to Congo Impact and my sponsor because now I can serve my community through teaching. I can also use my income to help my brother continue his studies. I am very thankful that now I can work and give back. Please continue to help other youth have the same opportunity.
