Testimony
I have a relationship with God through Jesus Christ and I pray to him daily. When I share my concerns with him, he responds in his timing, according to his will. I understand that by staying at the feet of the Lord, by trusting him, we have the assurance of our life and his promise in our life is certainly fulfilled. Finally, the faith that I have in God prompts me to believe the message read in 2 Chronicles 7: 12-15 where God gives conditions for his promises to be fulfilled in our life. That is a message that I recently learned that I love. I desire to live to continue to see the mighty hand of God in my life.
What has God done in your life?
God responds at the unexpected moment to my concerns. He allowed me to have a family, to receive him as Lord and Savior of my life, to serve in the Church as secretary among the elders, and now to continue my education.
What were you doing before going to the university?
I was already a geography teacher in Nyankunde. I loved my job and wanted to continue but I knew that I would be a better teacher after more training. I was also a secretary for the church. I had spoken to the elders about continuing my education and they found a replacement for me in my absence.
What do you want to do after graduating?
After graduating, I will return to Nyankunde and resume my job as a geography teacher and as a secretary at the church.
Community leader’s input on Angenong’a.
His father is a church elder and his wife is also a worship leader. He is a good teacher and the only one in this field of geography. We believe that this opportunity to continue his studies will really help our students.
