Family Background
I was born in a Christian family of six children. I’m the second child in my family. I have three other siblings that my parents have taken in and cared for as their own. My father works at CME hospital in Bunia. My mother mentors young women and teaches them to sew.
What have you been doing since graduating from UCBC?
I was without a job for about a year after graduating. But then, by the grace of God, I got a job with Paris Foot, a sports betting company. Although it was not the ideal job it was an opportunity for me to work and learn. I was connected to the job by a friend from my university. They chose me because I can speak English and they could trust me with finances. I left this job because of corruption inside the company. I prayed and trusted God to provide for me. I then found a job working at a trustworthy bank, called Rawbank in Bunia. Praise God answering my prayers and those of Congo Impact.
How has Congo Impact helped you?
Congo Impact has given me a good education by sending me to the University. This opportunity has formed me intellectually, physically and spiritually.
What do you want to say to your sponsor?
I would like to say thank you so much to my sponsors. I’m very grateful for their donation toward my education. I’m thankful for the opportunity I have been given to study at UCBC which helped me to develop skills to address Congo’s challenges. So again, thank you!
