Family Background

I grew up in Nyankunde. We left for Beni because of the war. But we came back two years after the war. My father is the director of the secondary school in Nyankunde. My mother is a teacher. I am the second of seven children.

What have you been doing since graduation?

I went to Beni looking for a job and participated in church activities. I had a mentor who helped me very much, but I moved back to Bunia, where I attended the university, because I found a job there. I am an administrator for an internet company that I had an internship with while in school. I am so grateful that God provided me with this job so that I can help my family financially and give back from what I have been given.

How has Congo Impact helped you?

Congo Impact really helped me so that I could be where I am today. It was really difficult for my father to be able to pay for me to continue my education. It is because of this program that I could get an education and have grown spiritually.

How do you want to use what you have learned?

I want to mentor people spiritually and help them grow in their faith. I also want to help people through my field. With the money I earn, I hope to help others go to school in the future.
